Soon after Chidya Ghar was completed, the Studio was commissioned to design the Roseate House’s private cinema. With a desire to show continuity between the two spaces, and carry through the use of brass, the Studio spent 11 months creating a 71-seater, plush cinema. This project required design to work in-sync with the needs of the sound and light technicians, who the Studio considers project partners: the carefully chosen solid walnut floor, sound absorbent walls, programmable LED lights, and soft leather seats are all elements that have been considered in accordance with the technical needs of the team. Meanwhile, no sacrifice has been made to luxury and comfort.
