This green field project involved building the image of a corporate brand through the construction of a Montessori school. The building conveys both a sense of playfulness and legitimacy, while prioritizing service-engineering design. Each square foot of the school is designed to communicate the brand image while also being child-friendly. This project also marks another one of the Studio’s experiments with transitional spaces – here, the corridor becomes a communal space that binds rather than segregates the educational spaces. It marks the Studio’s ongoing interest in exploring the relationship between transitional and functional spaces.
